The season opened with the relegation of the newly promoted Perugia after the combine organized by President Gaucci in the previous season of C1. The championship was won by the relegated Fiorentina that could field players like Batistuta and Toldo.

The 2000/2001 season is one to remember for Brescia, which achieved seventh place, the best ever placement in Serie A and access to the Intertoto Cup. Under the guidance of Carletto Mazzone there were players like Baggio, Tare, Pirlo and Hubner. Emanuele Filippini has tied most of his career to Brescia and is best known for having played extensively in A with his twin brother Antonio. The 2008/2009 season is the first one with mandatory turnstiles at the stadium and named tickets. Many clubs were not equipped and Reggiana also began its championship away from its home field. The Emilians, however, bounced back in a big way and made the C1 Series playoffs, lost only in the semifinals after two heart-stopping matches against Pro Patria.

Avellino's tracksuit season 1993/1994. The sweatshirt is full zipper in green with inserts in bright green and gray. Avellino logo sewn on the right side just below the cutio logo of the producer Pienne. Dietalat commercial sponsor logo in the weave on the heart side. Pienne logo is also sublimated inside the collar, on the rerto and on the sleeves. The pants are green with vertical grey bands in the weave of which are the Pienne logos. The closure is with laces while that of the sweatshirt is full zipper, fully functional.

ANECDOTES AND CURIOSITIES

Avellino in the 1993/1994 season was faced with a difficult season in Serie C1 but, despite the 3 changes on the bench, managed to save. The championship of C1 saw for the first time the 3 points to win, the playoffs and playout.

It was a season to forget for Ancona those 97/98. The team was entrusted first to Francesco Giorgini, then to Franco Scoglio and then again to Giorgini but the relegation in C1 was inevitable. Monza disputed only this season with the Ancona collecting 30 presences and 1 goal.

Catania training shirt of the 2009/2010 season. Long-sleeved blue uniform with red inserts. Catania logo embroidered on the heart side and manufacturer's logo Givova embroidered on the right side. The Givova brand is also present embroidered on the sleeves and in a patch at the bottom of the front. In the middle is applied the logo of the commercial sponsor SP Energia Siciliana, on the back are applied the logo Givova and the lettering Calcio Catania. The collar is V-shaped without buttons.

ANECDOTES AND CURIOSITIES

Catania in the 2009/2010 season marked its record of points in Serie A up to that moment. They managed to beat both Juve and Inter and won the Sicilian derby with Palermo. Serie A welcomed David Beckham to the ranks of AC Milan and for the first time saw the August matches played in the evening.
