The 96/97 championship coincides with the celebration of Udinese's centenary, is commemorated in Tarcento on 6 September 1996 in the presence of numerous old glories including the famous "Moon Ray" Arne Selmosson. Gino Pozzo bets on Marcio Amoroso, 22, Flamengo striker, despite having returned from a long stop after having been operated on his knee.
