The Renault R25 was the car with which the Renault team ran the 2005 Formula 1 World Championship. Designed by Bob Bell and Mark Smith, who had however left the team at the end of summer 2004, it was driven by Fernando Alonso and Giancarlo Fisichella. The R25 was the very first single-seater from the French manufacturer to win both the drivers' and constructors' championships, a success repeated only the following year by the R26.
