Liverpool Home model jersey season 1988/1989. Uniform short-sleeved red color with white inserts. On the front are applied in gum the logos of the commercial sponsor Candy, the technical sponsor Adidas and the team.
ANECDOTES AND CURIOSITIES
Liverpool's season was excellent. The Reds, in fact, fought until the end for the title and won the FA Cup and the Charity Shield. During the FA Cup semifinal against Nottingham Forest there were riots in the stadium. The neutral field of Sheffield, in fact, had been overcrowded and 96 Liverpool fans died in the stands. The challenge for the title against Arsenal this season inspired the well-known film "90° Fever" starring Colin Firth and Mark Strong.
