The 2008/2009 season is the first one with mandatory turnstiles at the stadium and named tickets. Many clubs were not equipped and Reggiana also began its championship away from its home field. In the middle is applied the logo of the commercial sponsor SP Energia Siciliana, on the back are applied the logo Givova and the lettering Calcio Catania. The collar is V-shaped without buttons.

ANECDOTES AND CURIOSITIES

Catania in the 2009/2010 season marked its record of points in Serie A up to that moment. They managed to beat both Juve and Inter and won the Sicilian derby with Palermo. Serie A welcomed David Beckham to the ranks of AC Milan and for the first time saw the August matches played in the evening.
