DETAILS
Inter shirt season 1996/1997 Away model long sleeves white with blue and black inserts. On the front is applied in flock Pirelli sponsor, while on the chest are embroidered team logo and Pirelli logo. At the bottom, the INTER lettering is embroidered in small letters while the number 14 is flocked in black on the back.
ANECDOTES AND CURIOSITIES
In the 1996/1997 season Inter was led by Roy Hodgson who resigned after an altercation with Zanetti at the end of the Uefa Cup final lost to Schalke. Roberto Carlos had also left the Nerazzurri for inconsistencies with the English coach. From the market, however, several players arrived, including Djorkaeff, who will be remembered above all for his acrobatic goal against Roma, a goal so beautiful that the referee Cesari stopped and personally congratulated the French player during the match. The number 14 jersey was usually worn by Dutchman Aron Winter.
