The shorts of the Lombard team are white, with side inserts in blue and black. The emblem of the sports club with a star is sewn onto the right leg, while the brand of the technical sponsor Umbro in blue is sewn onto the left leg.
President Moratti, in the 1995/1996 season, decides to invest the team's capital to better strengthen the squad of players and so the Argentine Javier Zanetti, the Brazilian Roberto Carlos and the English Ince arrive in Milan, as well as other athletes of the same level. Despite this, positive results were hard to come by and, for this reason, coach Ottavio Bianchi was sacked to make way for Luis Suárez, who in turn was replaced by the Englishman Roy Hodgson. Unfortunately, the championship ends only in seventh place.
