ANECDOTES AND CURIOSITIES
After 22 years, the Juventus team switched from Kappa to Lotto, but in the first season the brand name was not present on all the shirts and was replaced by the Ciaoweb logo, Fiat's digital portal. The market brought David Trezeguet to Turin, fresh winner of the European Championships with his golden goal in the final against Italy. Juventus, however, did not win the Scudetto, won by Totti's very strong Roma, and was quite disappointing in the cups. Edgar Davids, best known for his goggles, played in Italy with Milan, Inter and Juve. With the Turin team he played 159 games, scoring 8 goals and winning 3 Scudetti, successes that earned him a place on the Walk of Fame at Juventus Stadium.
