Historical Note
In 1998, Germany competed in the World Cup in France aiming to reclaim past glory. Under coach Berti Vogts, the team reached the quarter-finals but was eliminated by an impressive Croatian side. This tournament marked the end of an era, with veterans like Lothar Matthäus making their final appearances. The jacket symbolizes a moment of transition for German football, blending tradition with change.
