ANECDOTES

For Roma this is the season of the scandal known as the Lipopill case, due to the positive anti-doping test results of goalkeeper Angelo Peruzzi and Andrea Carnevale. Also in this season, president Dino Viola dies due to intestinal cancer. These inauspicious events give Roma a ninth place in the championship.
